The Isle of Anglesey lies just off the North West coast of Wales and is easily accessible from mainland Wales via the Menai Bridge but has a get away from it all atmosphere. There is also a direct route through the port of Holyhead to Ireland so a holiday in Anglesey can be combined with a day trip to Dublin.

Accommodation in Anglesey is varied with traditional farmhouses and bed and breakfasts, luxurious hotels, self catering cottages and plenty of caravan and camping sites. With over a hundred miles of spectacular coastline and the richness of the wildlife most of the area is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

One of the favourite attractions are the beaches. For those of you who enjoy water sports Holyhead, Beaumaris and Rhosneigr are ideal locations. There are also large, wide sandy beaches at Red Wharf Bay, Llanddwyn, Cemaes and Benllech and smaller coves at Porth Swtan, Cable Bay, Porth Cwyan and Moelfre.
